I am pretty certain that either I'm completely starting to lose it, or that I am in desperate need of a reality check by my fellow Kossacks.  Now, didn't Charlie Black get into some pretty serious hot water last week for inferring that it would be a 'good thing' for McCain if there were to be a terrorist attack on the United States prior to the election?  Yeah, I think this 'misstatement' was all over the news, and as I recall, there was a formal apology from Charlie Black regarding his statement.  I even recall watching Keith Olbermann talking about the fact that this continual fear mongering was now becoming a pattern by members of the McCain campaign and of course, the Republican party in general.  So regardless of Charlie Black's mea culpa....

Yes, indeedie she has. As I read Peggy Noonan's column today, I was reflecting on the past few weeks and while we are all waiting for the Super Delegates and party elders to stop this train wreak, I keep wondering where the hell are these people? According to Peggy, they are in the bar, hiding.

They are in a Democratic club on Capitol Hill, slump-shouldered at the bar, having a drink and then two, in a state of what might be called depressed horror. "What are they doing to the party?" they wail. "Why are they doing this?"

So, as we watch in horror at the Democratic Party Leaders apparently having a nervous breakdown, I keep shaking my head in amazement. This is our election to lose. We hold all the cards in the deck this time around and I'm wondering, what is it going to take to stop Hilary Clinton from destroying the Democratic Party?

April 22nd is nearly upon us and it promises to be a knock down drag out fight to finish on voting day in Pennsylvania. Today on the Race to the White House Show, Rachel Maddow predicted that Hilary Clinton may have one more secret bomb to drop on Obama prior to the vote, perhaps on Sunday or Monday. This got me to thinking, after the obvious hit job conducted by ABC there probably would not be much more that could be thrown at Obama between now and next Tuesday. After all, HRC is now spreading the newest set of lies that Obama is whining about the debate and that he obviously cannot take the heat of hard questions. The debate was nothing more than a tabloid gotcha set up to knee cap Obama, and regardless of what others think, I believe HRC  acted in collusion with George to ensure a final blow on Obama. Then I started thinking about the actual voting machines that will be used on Tuesday.  I found out some rather interesting facts.

 You and your friend Binky are sitting at a corner table finishing up after a long night of your favorite drinks. You've laughed your butts off, talked politics and world problems, you've talked about fond memories and how the hell your are going to pay for your kids college tuition and put away enough money for retirement, etc...etc.

You both notice that Hillary and Bill Clinton are sitting at the bar. It's been a long night for them and they seem to be in a somber mood as they order their last drinks for the night.

Several months ago, I remember reading the statement: It's going to get ugly out there. At the time I had no idea just how ugly it was going to get, and perhaps it would be wise to remember that it could even get uglier in the near future.  

It is difficult at best to watch the Democratic Party lose it's dignity, but that is what is happening. We are at the precipice of a moment in time where we are about to find out exactly who we are, what our real core values are and if we are willing to defend them or let them fall over the cliff into the crashing waves of the abyss.

According to ABC News' Ed O'Keefe Reports that Obama and Hillary will be  contending for the party's nomination and will debate again.

Taking the stage for the 21st and possibly 22nd time, Sens. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., and Barack Obama, D-Ill., could debate at least twice more before the critical Pennsylvania primary on Tuesday, April 22.

Both candidates have accepted an ABC News debate in Philadelphia and Obama has accepted a similar invitation from CBS News to debate at a location to be determined in North Carolina.

The CBS News debate would be their first debate of the 2008 campaign season.

ABC News hosted two debates in January -- only two days after the Iowa caucuses and three days before the first-in-the-nation New Hampshire primary.

They are coming. They have big plans. They have a lot of money too. They mean to win, no matter what the cost. They will slice, they will dice, they wear tear Obama to shreds and spread unspeakable lies every moment of every day until the National Election.

What are we as Democrats going to do about this? Do we have a plan? No.  Do they, you bet.

At the Los Angeles Beverly Wilshire Hotel, the winter location for the RNC big fat cat donors plans are well under way to crush the Democratic Party.

I heard recently that 1 in 7 families are being foreclosed on due to the sub-prime lending mess.  I've read as many articles as I can trying to understand exactly how and why this is happening. Many of the articles are so convoluted and it seems you have to be almost an economic expert to truly understand the how, what, why and when of it all.

No matter how many articles I read, I just could not find out the root cause. I mean, not just bad lending practices, or questionable banks.  I wanted to understand exactly from nickel one how it happened.

Then.......I caught this piece on Crooks and Liars by John Amato and it all made sense to me.

We all know, it had already begun. The lies, the innuendo, the misinformation, the racist remarks, the fear mongering.  And it is just beginning.  

Today I watched as "The First Insane President" Dubya look right into the eye of the camera and state that Barack Obama was planning to bomb Pakistan.

The reporters on CNN, particularly Jack Cafferty immediately said, this is not what Obama said, in fact what he said was exactly what the President said, which was, "if we had reliable intelligence, and we knew where Bin Lauden was, we would act upon it."

The looming delegate fight that may very well occur regarding seating of the Florida and Michigan delegates during the Democratic Convention could literally cause irrecoverable harm to the Democratic Party.

Barack Obama, John Edwards and Hillary Clinton all made this pledge, this promise based on the sanctions placed on these two states for leap frogging their primaries a head of schedule.

But now, Senator Clinton is changing her tune. The Associated Press on January 27th, reported that Clinton has already "vowed" to ensure that she would fight to have the Michigan and Florida delegates seated at the Convention.  So, we are suppose to Trust Senator Clinton as our President?

Like many of you here, I send various letters to Media Matters and other MSNBC "Big Bad Bosses", and apparently "they got the message loud and clear".

Just in case you did not have a chance to see it, take a look at the article written by Jason Linkins on The Huffington Post of January 17, 2008.

Chris Matthews statement or, what I will refer to as his "FAKE APOLOGY" simply turned into another sick segment of his non-stop diatribe that I like to call:

               ENOUGH ABOUT ME....WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT ME.

The first confirmed report thats I had from CNN and then on MSNBC was that according to witnesses at the scene of Bhutto's assassination a thin young man was seen shooting at her as she stood up in the sun room of the vehicle she was it. It was reported that  one bullet when through her head, and one bullet when through her back and that her cause of death was that one or more or the various bullets had ruptured her cerebral cortex. Those reports came on Thursday. Later on Friday morning the story had been changed from "bullets" to a piece of shrapnel in the back or her head.

By Friday evening, the world was then told a entirely different story, and I find this the most puzzling of all; that Bhutto did not in fact die from an assassins bullet, but from hitting her head on the back of a metal piece of the truck she was being transported in.  As quoted from a story I read by Murid Ahmad:

I know, I know, it's the day after Christmas, and I swore off Tweetie a few weeks ago, but I was bored, so I watched him today....What a mistake. I can't figure out who this guy is anymore? Is he Don Imus light? Is he like one of those wooden dolls/ventriloquists for the Republicans...is he the new Paris Hilton of the Main Stream Media?

I mean, who the hell does he think he is? I've never written a diary for John Edwards, but I am voting for him, because I believe in my heart, he is the one we can get into office OK? Enough said.  I am not a Hilary Hater, although, I wish, early on that she could have ducked taped Bill, including his big mouth and put him into a closet somewhere...however, I still believe, that you will get two for the price of one with these two...I happen to be on the fence about their tactics, although part of me realizes that if you want someone tough, you better be ready to play tough, and that is what we need right now.  TOUGH.

But I'm ready to turn that page, because of my own decisions, in my heart.

I thought it was a wonderful Holiday gift to Congress....kind of like coals in their stockings.

The letter is signed by many well know and highly respected attorney's and it made me very sad to think that after the hundreds and probably thousands or emails and letters Congress has received from Kos people, and all across this country, that finally, one thousand men and women are shaming them.  Good.  Good.  Good.  Good and More Good.

He is so stupid, that perhaps when he drifts off looking out the window of a helicopter surveying the thousands of homes destroyed in New Orleans, what he really is daydreaming about is getting back to Crawford to finish clearing all that nasty brush on his rambling man estate.

But, hey, he's the guy American's elected cause they wanted to have a beer with him, so I say, hell, let me just try to imagine that he's just another good old boy, and that he has his little moments of, how he "wished things were"...

As Bullwinkle tried to pull another rabbit out of his ass regarding the most recent NIE report, I could not help but wonder if Dick Cheney was squirming in his chair as much as the reporters interviewing Bullwinkle at that now infamous press conference.

It has now come to light without a shadow of a doubt, that the entire fiasco has caught Bullwinkle and Rocky with their pants down in front of the entire world. The proof has appeared over and over again, that they have known for over a year that Iran has ended it's nuclear program, yet the Rush to War was "full speed ahead" regardless of the monumental consequences for the entire world.  

It seems our own Pentagon led by James Baker has finally stepped in to stop these two insane neocon criminals, just in time.  

I think I need to check in the Paddy Chayefsky home school of improvement....perhaps they have something like that at Home Depot.....excuse me, but did anyone else hear on the news today, that Karl Rove had completely re-written History?  That what led us into the very first time in our country was because the Democrats, insisted that we go to war?

Am I living in a time warp now...is Karl Rove, now Commander of the Enterprise?  William Shatner, but without any charm or good looks?  I seem to be caught in a very serious place in space here...

And might I ask?  Where are our Leaders in the Democratic Party to stand up to this absolutely, insane, outrage.....Oh yes...it was the Democrats that led us into war...we just begged them not to do it...we said it would be too political....

You know, I am old enough to remember when Ronald Reagan decided to mainstream (a polite word for throw them out into the streets) program of cutting all funding to the mental hospitals in our country.

This began what is now known are perhaps the greatest horror story in this country.  Please take a moment to look this up.  This country has always had homeless people, and always will.

But this flagrant beginning of starting from the bottom up to dismantle those that are in most need, was what I heard today....did you?
