James Baker & The Pentagon vs. Cheney

As Bullwinkle tried to pull another rabbit out of his ass regarding the most recent NIE report, I could not help but wonder if Dick Cheney was squirming in his chair as much as the reporters interviewing Bullwinkle at that now infamous press conference.

It has now come to light without a shadow of a doubt, that the entire fiasco has caught Bullwinkle and Rocky with their pants down in front of the entire world. The proof has appeared over and over again, that they have known for over a year that Iran has ended it's nuclear program, yet the Rush to War was "full speed ahead" regardless of the monumental consequences for the entire world.  

It seems our own Pentagon led by James Baker has finally stepped in to stop these two insane neocon criminals, just in time.  

Immediately after this report came to light and the truth drenched us all like a cold bucket of water in our faces, the rethugs went into high gear on damage control.  The spin included statements that this report had been written by "left-wing" CIA agents, and we were immediately warned by Bolton that "we could not possibly rely on such a report, which could be very dangerous."

So, it was perfectly OK when Cheney and his pet vampires strong armed George Tenant et. al, cherry picked their own intel, outed a CIA agent ruining her and untold other lives, rushed through the horrifying Patriot Act, Put Up A Sign that essentially reads, Torcher is good for America, and based on lie after lie after lie, Rushed the United States into the worst military blunder in history.

Gordon Brown announced to his troops today, that The War Is Over. A man of great intelligence and common sense Brown, like James Baker they are taking specific steps to begin to restore sanity.  I'm certain, next thing we will here is how the Brits are "cutting and running."  

The Pentagon has had it, thank god. And along with James Baker they have insured that the report from NEI is of the highest caliber and confidence.  This is what is called "SUPPORTING THE TROOPS" folks.  The troops that remain there are completely worn to the bone, they have nothing left to give and are fighting on an empty emotional gas tank..fumes only.  

But leave it to Bush to cut the Veteran's Benefits while, the rate of suicide for our troupes has sky rocked, and their approval rate for Bush is at an all time low. What is called a complete lack of confidence.

When I read the report about Baker and the Pentagon working deliberately with the NEI intel experts, I had a glimmer of hope and remembered the old saying, Hell No We Won't Go......and that old Joe Fish song too....

"And it's one, two, three what are we fighting for,
 Don't ask me I don't give a damn, the next stop is old Iran
 And it five, six, seven, open up the Pearly Gates,
 Ain't no need to wonder why, oohhhpppee, we'll all gonna die."

Today I give James Baker, those that are at the Pentagon who are supporting their fellow compatriots, and Gordon Brown for showing us again, how Leadership works; not through words, but actions.

Bush and Cheney, once a bell has been rung, the bell has been rung, and  ask not for whom the bell tolls, it tools for thee.

Badabing
