Tweetie gives a FAKE apology to Hilary, kind of, sort of.....

Fri Jan 18, 2008 at 12:49:14 AM PDT

Like many of you here, I send various letters to Media Matters and other MSNBC "Big Bad Bosses", and apparently "they got the message loud and clear".

Just in case you did not have a chance to see it, take a look at the article written by Jason Linkins on The Huffington Post of January 17, 2008.

Chris Matthews statement or, what I will refer to as his "FAKE APOLOGY" simply turned into another sick segment of his non-stop diatribe that I like to call:

ENOUGH ABOUT ME....WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT ME.

During his four minute fake apology, he uses the word "I"...meaning himself (who else?) only 36 times.

Howard Kurtz reports that Matthews was pressured by MSNBC to give his Fake Apology:

Under pressure from feminist groups and his own bosses at MSNBC, Chris Matthews apologized yesterday for remarks about Hillary Clinton that he now admits sounded "nasty."

For 10 days, the "Hardball" host had doggedly insisted he was just reciting a bit of history when he said on the air that "the reason she's a U.S. senator, the reason she's a candidate for president, the reason she may be a front-runner is her husband messed around."

But protests against those and other remarks by Matthews reached a peak yesterday when the presidents of such groups as the National Organization for Women, Feminist Majority and National Women's Political Caucus sent a joint letter of complaint to NBC News President Steve Capus.

At one point during his 'statement' he talks about how he "gets it." But in fact, its so obvious how much he does not get it at all.  He compares his statement that the only reason Hilary is where she is today, is that her husband messed around, to this statement he makes about John McCain:

On the particular point, if I'd said it the only reason John McCain has come so far is that he got shot down over North Vietnam and captured by the enemy, I'd be brutally ignoring the courage and guts he showed in bearing up under his captivity. Saying that Senator Clinton got where she's got simply because her husband did what he did to her is just as callous, and I can see now that it comes across just as nasty. Worse yet, just as dismissive.

This comparison is so indicative of the way this asshat thinks...he just does not understand what a crazed hateful sexist he is.....and he uses this one example about Hilary getting where she was because her husband messed around, without ever mentioning the other hundred times he has gone insane on the air, spitting and foaming at the mouth, tearing her apart like a ravenous wolf.

I mean, this just goes to show you, HE DOES NOT GET IT, HE WILL NEVER GET IT, and who wants to take bets on just how long it will be before he starts doing it again?  1 week?  2 weeks?

Yes, Denial is not just the name of a river in Egypt.
